1. What dates should I book my flights for?
We would recommend arriving in India by Saturday 4th of March to make it to the first event (Mehnda). Return is up to you; however, we will be checking out of the hotel on the 12th of March.
2. What are the visa entry requirements for India?

The following info has been sourced from this link.
Vaccines
All international passengers arriving in India are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID 19. Any other vaccinations should be considered based on your own preferences. You should be able to get the Vaccination Certificate for proof from MyGov.
COVID Test
You no longer required an RT-PCR test prior to entering India (advice changed in February).
There are no singificant COVID restrictions in place in India at the moment however we recommend bringing a mask for public transport.
4. How can I travel around Delhi?
You should be able to easily use your Uber app in Delhi. Please do note that sometimes drivers may ask you whether you want to pay in cash as they prefer it and might cancel otherwise. This shouldn't happen at the airport though and from personal experience, trying other rideshare apps such as Ola may help. We would not recommend cancelling a ride and paying in cash as this may jeopardise your safety and security (as the app won't track the car).
5. Will there be days available to explore India?
This will be dependent on your arrival and departure dates. There will be limited time during the week as there are wedding functions or Holi (Tues 07 to Wed 08 Mar) occuring on most days. But you are welcome to utilise any free time available for shopping and sightseeing. Specifically, Mon 06 Mar and Thu 09 Mar are your best bet for these activities as you won't miss out on much!
6. How do I convert money to use in India?
There are two options to convert AUD to INR.
- You can open a Wise account and purchase a card for $10. This card can then be topped up and used as normal in India at all places where card is accepted (some markets do not accept card). The link to create a Wise account is: https://wise.com/au/card/
- You can convert money at the airport before you depart Australia or at the Indian Airport. This will often result in a considerable lower rate.
7. What is the weather like in India in March?
